
Margaret Ann Garrison, 78, of Sherwood, Arkansas, went to be with the Lord on April 28, 2026. She was born on September 3, 1947 in North Little Rock, Arkansas to the late John and Naomi Bennett.
Margaret was preceded in death by her parents, Naomi Bennett and John Bennett; her eldest daughter, Lisa Darlene Harp; and her beloved fur baby, Frog Dog.
She is survived by her children, Jamie Garrison; Deana Garrison (Larry); John Garrison (Tonya); and Dan Harp (Lisa’s husband). She is also survived by her grandchildren, Jason Fulton (Desiree), Justin Wallis, Tyler Wallis, Katie Coppin (Eric), Zachary Garrison (Hannah), and Katelynn Redd (Nathan); as well as her great-grandchildren, Kaeden, Khole, and Ariana Fulton.
Margaret spent her final days surrounded by loved ones, sharing memories and laughter with those closest to her, and enjoying time with the family’s beloved fur babies, Lacy Lou Riley, Sandy Mae, Millie Grace, and Bella Boo.
Margaret was a beloved member of her family and community, known for her kind heart, creativity, and deep faith. She found great joy in reading her Bible and expressing herself through art. She loved drawing on large poster boards, creating fun and imaginative pictures, and writing stories to go along with them.
Music was a special part of Margaret’s life. She enjoyed writing songs, especially worship music, and always kept it playing on her radio day and night. Her love for the Lord was evident in everything she did.
Margaret also had a passion for flowers and gardening. She could walk through any nursery and name each flower, sharing details about them with excitement and joy. She brought beauty to the world around her in many ways.
She dedicated many years of her life serving others as an EMT, showing compassion and care to those in need.
Margaret will be remembered for her warmth, creativity, and unwavering faith. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
A service to honor and celebrate her life will be held on Friday, May 15, 2026, at 6:00 p.m. at North Hills Baptist Church. The family is grateful for the support, prayers, and kindness shown during this difficult time.
