Nancy Jo Fredenburgh, age 83, passed away peacefully on May 24, 2026, in Maumelle, Arkansas. She was born on February 12, 1943, in Bellefontaine, Ohio. 

She graduated from the Gradwohl School of Laboratory Technique in St. Louis, Missouri, and devoted more than 35 years of her professional life to working as a medical technologist at the University of Cincinnati, where she was known for her dedication and professionalism. 

Outside of her career, she was an avid reader with a deep interest in Native American history and studies. She was also a passionate advocate for women’s rights and was a longtime member of the National Organization for Women. She valued education, independence, and standing firmly in her beliefs. 

She will be remembered for her independence, resilience, and thoughtful nature. No funeral or memorial services are planned.
