Helping Families and Friends Honor Their Loved One

Lanis Grigg Daniel was born on May 27, 1951 in El Paso, Texas.  Lanis passed peacefully, without pain or suffering on Monday May 25, 2026 surrounded by family and loved ones.

She was preceded in death by her Father and Mother, Gorman and Rosemary Grigg.  The family relocated to Little Rock, Arkansas in the mid-1950’s where Lanis would live as a lifelong Arkansan.  She graduated from Central High School and continued her education, graduating from The University of Arkansas at Little Rock as a member of the Pi Beta Phi sorority.

Lanis was a proud and devoted wife, mother, and friend to many.  She loved to dance, travel, socialize with lifelong friends, and watching her Razorbacks.  Her spirit would light up a room, and her kindness and strength left a lasting impression on all that met her.

Lanis is survived by her Husband of 27 years, Terry Daniel of Maumelle; Her son, Morgan, of Charlotte North Carolina; Her son Brad, his wife Kami, their 3 children Bree, Blair, and Blade, and 1 great grandchild, all of Benton.   Terry’s son Ian, his wife Brittany, and 2 children, Sam and Mallory of Beebe.

Lanis’s life celebration will be held at A Natural State Funeral Home, 2620 West Main Street in Jacksonville on Friday, June 5, 2026 at 2:00 pm and will be open to the public.

    Terry and family – I am so very sorry for your loss. I always loved catching up with Lanis at work gatherings. She always made me laugh about something. I will miss hearing her opinions and stories. Sending you all love and healing during this difficult time.

    Lanis was a wonderful person and friend to many. She was my friend as far back as Junior High School at Southwest. She continued to love her girlfriends from Central for her entire life. Lanis will be missed by many. Prayers for her family.
