Debora L Routson, age 66, died June 5, 2026, at her home in Jacksonville, AR.  Born May 28, 1960 in Michigan City, Indiana, she was the daughter of Richard & Grace Routson.

Gold Star mom of Kevin Thomson, killed in Battle of Cop Keating, Afghanistan in 2009, receiving a Purple Heart. Battle was filmed in movie “The Outpost”.

She is survived by two sisters, Dolora Ellison and Christina Akina.

She was known for her care for others and her tremendous work ethic.  Her emotional support dog (Charlie) is also well known and is now with a new, loving family.  She is missed deeply but she now has a new home in heaven with her Savior Jesus Christ with no more pain or suffering.
