James Kenneth McClellan Jr, 68, of Cabot Arkansas was welcomed into the arms of Jesus on Tuesday, July 7, 2026. He was born September 14, 1957 in Little Rock, Arkansas to James Kenneth McClellan Senior and Betty Campbell.

James loved going hunting, fishing, and spending time with family; especially his grandkids. Everyone who knew him knows he loved to laugh, make people laugh, and had an absolute heart of gold. Most importantly he loved the Lord. James was a member of Union Valley Baptist Church in Beebe. He also served in the US Army from 1978 to 1982 and was stationed in Germany. He then later worked as a mechanic and did roofing for many years.

James is preceded in death by his parents James Kenneth McClellan Sr and Betty Campbell. Along with his sisters, Pamela Sheppard, Cheryl Torres, and Elizabeth Campbell.

He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 45 years, Dana McClellan. His sons James Ray McClellan (Sabrina), and Jason McClellan (Courtenay). His grandchildren McKynzie Patrick, Jaycee McClellan, and Emree McClellan. His great grandchildren River Patrick, Amelia Patrick, and Ledger Pannell. His brothers, Daryl McClellan (Kristie), William McClellan, and Alan McClellan. His sister Susie Brunson. Along with a plethora of nieces and nephews.

James and Dana also wanted to give a special thank you to his cousin Redonda Eddy, Best friend Bert Newton, and friend Della Wetzel for all of the support and care they have given.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 14, 2026 from 6:00-8:00pm at Union Valley Baptist Church, 932 US-64 W, Beebe, AR 72012. The funeral service will follow on Wednesday, July 15, 2026 at 10:00am at the church. Burial will take place at the Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery in North Little Rock.

Though our hearts are broken, we find joy in knowing he is spending eternity with the Lord.
