
Delta Mae Isaac, age 87, of Jacksonville, Arkansas passed away July 12, 2026. She was born to Robert Barber Martin and Emma Dorothy Martin on September 11, 1938 in Dowdy, Arkansas.
She is preceded in death by her parents Robert and Emma Martin; siblings John Henry Martin, R.B. Martin, H.B. Martin, Dean Martin, Pauline Martin Murdock, and Velma Martin Prince; her husband Billy Harold Isaac; and two sons Martin Harold Isaac and Michael Ray Isaac.
Delta is survived by her brother Roland Martin; her son Marcus Isaac (Dana); grandchildren Denise, Savannah and Devyn; honorary grandchildren Lauran and Ashlynn; great-grandchildren Elizabeth and Ethan; along with a host of family and friends and her little dog, Cooper.
Delta and her husband, Bill, met on a blind date with someone else, but they are the ones that ended up getting married a week later and were married 64 years before she lost Bill in February of 2019. The family traveled the world with her husband’s military career and lived overseas and later moved back to Arkansas.
Delta loved to care for children in her home for over 50 years. Many of them were 2 generations. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Jacksonville for many years. Delta loved pets, especially rabbits when she was younger and all of her dogs. She loved to garden in her flower beds. She will be remembered by many for the love and generosity to others.
We would like to thank her caregivers Teresa, Nadine, Lauren, and Leann for the wonderful care to Delta.
Visitation will be held on Monday, July 20, 2026 from 9:30am with the funeral service at 10:30am in the chapel at A Natural State Funeral Service. Burial will follow at the Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery in North Little Rock.
