It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of Garrett Thomas Whitt, of Hot Springs on August 4th, 2026, at the age of 33.
He is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Paul Light and Sarrah Martin.
Garrett is survived by the love of his life, Amanda Whisenhunt of Hot Springs, and their daughter Norah Whitt, his mother, Deborah Light, his father, Anthony Glenn Whitt, his brother Austin Hunter Whitt, his niece, Faith Kennedy, and his paternal grandparents, Larry and Marilyn Whitt, all of Jacksonville, as well as many aunts, uncles, and cousins whom he loved dearly.
Garrett was born in Jacksonville, AR on July 23, 1993. He graduated from Jacksonville High School and attended college at ASU Beebe. He moved to Hot Springs in 2020. In his short 33 years, Garrett was a light to everyone who knew him. His greatest accomplishment in life was taking care of his family. He was a loving father to Norah, and a loving partner to Amanda. He loved to play guitar and he loved spending time with his family, whether it be going swimming at the river as a family or playing video games together, they always had so much fun. Everyone who knew him was so blessed.
