Travis Montgomery Horner of Benton, AR went to Heaven on Friday morning, August 7, 2026 after a three year battle with cancer. Travis was born on June 1, 1980 at Northside Hospital in Atlanta, Georgia. From the time he was two years old he loved Legos and “wheels”-starting with his Big Wheel, then a bike, then to many cars and trucks, including a Shelby Ford Mustang.

When Travis was in middle school, he played a trombone in the Bobcat school band and was on the First Colony (Sugarland, TX) swim team. As a young adult he was an active member of a car club in Central AR. When he was older, he enjoyed fishing and observing the stars and planets from the deck in his backyard.

Travis was preceded in death by his dad, Monty Horner.

He is survived by his wife Kimbra who he married on June 6, 2020. He is also survived by his daughter, Madi Horner of Cabot, the joy of his life. He loved seeing her softball and volleyball games and was super proud of her learning to play the saxophone.

Travis is also survived by his mom, Kathy Horner (Maumelle), his sisters Mandy McGuire (North Little Rock) and Jenny Pokora (Little Rock), his aunt Nancy Alley (LA), uncles Andy Horner (TX), Duwane Ramey (CO), Ernest Ramey (North Little Rock), cousins Kirsten Chavez (CO), Jeremiah Ramey (CO), Sharon Horner (CA), and Michael and Jake Allen (WA). He is also survived by nieces Juniper and Rose McGuire and nephew Luke Pokora (WI).

Travis was grateful for the care of his CARTI doctors: Dr. Gentry, Dr. Elias, and Dr.  Pagan, as well as his pharmacist Paul at Pillquest Pharmacy.

Travis became a Christian at the age of 9 and was baptized at Williams Trace Baptist Church, Sugarland, TX. He is now breathing the air of Heaven. Revelation 21:3-4.
