Eric Kyle Mooney, age 50, of Ward, Arkansas passed away on August 19, 2026. He was born in Jacksonville, Arkansas on February 3, 1976 to Robert Charles Mooney and Sharon Marie Whitworth.

Eric was a great man. He loved his wife, family, and friends with all of his heart. He was a friend to everyone and never met a stranger. He loved traveling with his wife. He will be deeply missed.

Eric is preceded in death by his father Robert Charles Mooney.

He is survived by his wife Sara Mooney; mother Sharon White; siblings Eddie Mooney (Glen), Ginny Mooney, and Gregg Poston (Brandy); stepdaughters Amiee Camarillo (Victor), Alexis Anderson, and Madilynn Anderson; honorary son Brandon Pierce (Kerry); along with a host of extended family and many friends.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 29, 2026 at 10:00am in the chapel at A Natural State Funeral Service.
