Betty Ann Hall Peeks Rhiddlehoover, age 68, passed away peacefully on September 3, 2026, in Jacksonville, Arkansas.

Born on August 31, 1958, in Little Rock, Arkansas, to Betty Lou Rogers Hall and Jimmy Ray Hall, Betty grew up in North Little Rock, a place she always considered home.

Betty was a devoted mother, grandmother, sister, and friend whose life was centered on caring for others. She found joy in taking care of her family and creating a warm, welcoming home where everyone felt loved and supported. Her kindness, generosity, and nurturing spirit touched the lives of all who knew her.

Life was not always easy for Betty, but she faced every challenge with remarkable strength and determination. Her family often joked that she had more than nine lives because she seemed to overcome one obstacle after another. No matter what came her way, Betty continued moving forward with resilience, perseverance, and an unwavering love for her family.

Throughout her working years, Betty gave her all to every job she held. Whether working in restaurants or later managing a cheese shop at a local grocery store, she quickly earned the respect of coworkers and customers alike through her hard work, dedication, and ability to make everyone feel welcome. She believed in doing a job well and expected the same commitment from those around her.

Betty was known for her creativity and her love of making things beautiful. She enjoyed “blinging” everyday items, adding sparkle, style, and personality to everything she touched. She also loved thrift shopping and had a special talent for finding unique treasures and thoughtful gifts for the people she loved. Those cherished gifts remain treasured keepsakes, serving as lasting reminders of her love and thoughtfulness.

She loved to laugh and loved making others laugh even more. Betty was always ready for a good time and somehow had a way of bringing order to even the most chaotic situations. Her sense of humor, creativity, determination, and ability to bring people together will be deeply missed.

Of all the roles she held in life, being a grandmother brought Betty some of her greatest joy. She shared a special bond with each of her grandchildren, especially her grandson Michael, whom she helped care for from the time he was only two weeks old. Michael was truly the light of her life, and her love for him never wavered. She would have done anything in the world for him.

Betty was preceded in death by her mother, Betty Lou Rogers Hall; her father, Jimmy Ray Hall; and her sister, Camellia Lynn Alred.

She leaves behind a family who loved her dearly, including her daughters, Tina Michelle Sanders, Michelle Reese, and Kimberly Smith; her beloved grandchildren, Madison, Jacob, Jaylen, Keaton, Ryan, Isabella, Kendalyn, and Michael; her sister, Rita Hall Horlock; five great-grandchildren; and numerous relatives and friends who will forever cherish her memory.

In accordance with her wishes, Betty was cremated and will be laid to rest beside her beloved mother in Bigelow, Arkansas.

Though her family grieves her passing, they find comfort in the many memories she created, the love she freely gave, and the laughter she brought into their lives. Betty’s legacy lives on through the family she adored, the keepsakes she thoughtfully gifted, and the countless lives she touched with her caring heart.

Betty will always be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She was a mother who held her children’s hands for a little while, but their hearts forever.
