Helping Families and Friends Honor Their Loved One

Kathleen (Kathy) Maples, age 66, of Pangburn, Arkansas passed away on September 12, 2026.

Survived by her loving husband Charles Ray Cashion who has been her rock during her brave fight against cancer.  Also survived by her sisters Jeanie (Jimmy) Terrell, Pat (Wayne) Hall and Beth Lentz and one brother Ed (Michelle) Maples and her very spoiled German Shepherds Trooper and Trouble and her cat Jax.

She was an advanced practice nurse most recently working for the VA. Kathy has always been strong and independent.  At the age of 5 she would saddle her pony and take off for a ride without telling anyone she was leaving.  She loved and trained horses and competed in equestrian jumping.   Always a bit of a daredevil, she has bungee jumped off the stratosphere in Las Vegas twice, and gone white water rafting.  She loved camping and kayaking with friends and family and her dogs.  She loved any card game and was known to cheat a little if no one watched too closely.   She lived her life fully and by her own rules.  Predeceased by her Father Ed Maples and mother Marty (Marta) Maples and her much loved Rottweilers Roxy and Lane.

She was loved by many and will leave a big hole in our hearts.

There will be a celebration of life at a later date.
