
Anthony Watson Jefferies, age 67, passed away peacefully following a lengthy illness on September 15, 2026 surrounded by loved ones. He was born in Pine Bluff, Arkansas on October 20, 1958.
Anthony enjoyed fishing, swimming, and taking trips to Mountain View and Branson. In his younger days, he enjoyed riding motorcycles. Anthony served his country through his enlistment to the United States Navy from 1979 to 1982 aboard the USS Ranger stationed out of San Diego, California.
Anthony was preceded in death by his mother, Hazel Volpert; maternal grandparents, Robert and Neatie Sirratt; and paternal grandparents, Clement Sr. and Catherine Volpert.
He is survived by his daughter, Monica Jefferies; cherished granddaughter, Aliah Bryant; father, Clement Volpert Jr.; brother Daniel Volpert (Jennifer); sister, Anna Loomis (Joseph); nieces, Kristi Direnzo (Jeremy) and Tiffany Filippi (Javier); nephews, Donnie Davis and Cameron Davis (Courtney); and great nephews and nieces, Alexis, Jayden, Emiley, Mackenzie, Easton, Levi, and Noah. He is also survived by his loyal canine companion, Poppy.
The family will have a private Celebration of Life at a later date. In the meantime, they ask that family and friends keep them in their thoughts and prayers. May he rest peacefully.
