She found joy in planting and was always eager to expand her gardening skills, often sharing her growing passion through her garden content on TikTok. She enjoyed trying new restaurants and especially loved Mexican food. She spent a lot of her time playing Monopoly on her cell phone. She loved spending time with her family and enjoyed hosting on special occasions. Above all, Tomona cherished every moment spent with her grandson, Kalix.
Tomona was well known among family and friends for her delicious lemonade, her delicious Christmas treat trays, and her famous lasagna. She was someone who didn’t mind helping or supporting family and friends, an encouraging woman and a wonderful mother, wife, daughter, sister, niece, cousin, aunt and grandmother.
She graduated from Crossett High School in 1995, earned her Bachelor of Arts from the University of Arkansas at Monticello in 2002, and later received her Master of Business Administration from American InterContinental University in 2018. She also leaves behind her siblings LaDonnya Hagood (Maumelle, AR), Brian (Tabetha) Thomas (Sherwood, AR), and Henry Lee II (Octavia) Hagood (Maumelle, AR), along with a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Throughout her life, she held many roles that reflected her compassion and dedication, CNA, inventory clerk at Georgia Pacific, Family Service Worker Specialist at DHS, and waiver services provider.

Condolences to the family. I remember the time that I spent with Tamona when she worked for DHS/DCFS. I remember when she had her daughter and I know that she loved her and the rest of her family.
