Tommy Ray Uptain, age 74, of Conway, Arkansas passed away on September 23, 2026. He was born in Birmingham, Alabama on October 3, 1951 to Louie and Grace Uptain.
Tommy is preceded in death by both parents and brothers Andy Uptain, Larry Uptain, Jerry Uptain, Richard Uptain, Billy Uptain, Arthur Uptain, and Roger Uptain.
He is survived by his children Amy Uptain, Jennifer Clawson (Justin), Kristy Uptain (Adam), Danny Uptain (Marylyn), Ronda Clark (Braylen Seals), and Ricky Nibblett; sister Robin Uptain; dear friend Paula Nibblett; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and extended family and friends.
Tommy proudly served in the Air Force for 21 years. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Life is never long enough, and the years pass quickly, leaving only memories. I hope the fine memories of Tommy will forever warm your hearts and bring smiles to your faces. May you find comfort knowing that death was never God’s plan (Gen.1:28; Rom. 5:12; Rev.21:4) and loved ones will be resurrected (Acts 24:15) with the hope of life forever on a paradise earth (Ps. 37:11,29) as God intended from the beginning. Until then, cherish the hope and the fond memories of Tommy as he rests in God’s loving care.
