Thomas William Kellogg, age 77, passed peacefully into the arms of Jesus on October 9, 2026.
He is reunited with those who preceded him in death; his wife of 47 years, Pamela Kellogg, his parents, Kelly & Reva Kellogg and his three infant sons, Shane, Eric & Jason Kellogg.
Thomas was a devoted husband to Pamela; a loving father to Dana (Kellogg) Higgins and Jolinda “Jodi” Kellogg; a proud grandfather to Keara Calvin, Blain Harder and Avery, Brooke & Collin Higgins and a caring great-grandfather to Rhealynn Dardeen and Jordynn Pate.
As an Army veteran and Purple Heart recipient; a criminal investigator, a police officer and a law enforcement training instructor for the Department of Veterans Affairs for more than 20 years; a master of multiple martial arts and a Martial Arts Hall of Fame inductee he was known to the world as a tough guy. But to our family he was a teddy bear. He was a soft-hearted and gentle spirit, a protector, a provider, a place of rest, a source of laughter and a caretaker. To some he was Sensei, to others he was Sir, to us he was Daddy and Pawpa, and by all he was loved.
His family looks forward to the day they will see him again in their heavenly home.
