Jonathon Mikel Hammonds, age 38, was born on December 30, 1987 to Matt and Kim Hammonds. He was the oldest of three boys. Jonathon went to his heavenly home on October 29, 2026.

He was preceded in death by his father, Matt Hammonds, brothers Jacob and Zach Hammonds, his uncle Steve Elliott and his grandparents Larry Pharris and Sharon Hammonds.

Those left to carry on without Jon are his mom, Kim Hammonds (Dennis); his children, Jacob Hammonds, Lauren Hammonds, Caleb Munnerlyn (Emma), and Colton Smith; the mothers of his children, Rashell Hammonds, and Magen Embry; sister-in-law, Chelsea Hammonds; grandparents Sheroll Pharris and Preston Hammonds; his “Mimi” Cami Horn (Lonnie); “Unc” Larry Pharris Jr (Deneva) and Aunt April Wilson; his cousins, Kati and Tony Fleming, Alex and Haley Elliott, Tanner and Ashlyn Elliott, Trace and Hope Pharris, Makayla Sullivan, McKenzie Sulllivan, Carolann Wilson, Cloe and Logan Kirkendol and Andrew Fry; nieces and nephews, Kinley, Keaton, Kambree, Aubrey (Payton), Bella, Aimslee, Addi, Amory, Asher, Anni, Elli, Cooper, Savannah, Gatlin, Steele, Remi, Briley, Holynd, Lainey and Emersyn.

Jon was a father, son, grandson, brother-in-law, uncle and nephew. He brought love and laughter to everyone he knew. He loved deeply and enjoyed being with his family. He loved the holidays and was looking forward to spending them with his kids, nieces and nephews.

Jon missed his family that had gone before him and we know they helped welcome him home.

Jon’s laughter and hugs will be missed by everyone who knew him. To know Jon was to love him.

Visitation will be held on Friday, November 6, 2026 at 11:00am with the service at 12:00pm at That.Church located at 868 Bill Foster Memorial Hwy, Cabot, AR 72023.  Burial to follow at Old Austin Cemetery.
