Gracie Marie Stracener, 75, of McRae passed away on Saturday, April 16, 2016. She was born to the late Walter and Mayme Markham Gregory on July 27, 1940 in Manchester, Kentucky. She is also preceded in death by one son, Terry Stracener of Memphis, Tennessee.

She is survived by two sons, Danny Stracener of McRae, Arkansas and Ricky Stracener of Sherwood, Arkansas; one daughter, Vicky Horn of Cabot, Arkansas; six grandchildren, Desari Errickson of Memphis, Tennessee, Danielle Stracener of Little Rock, Arkansas, Chelle Stracener of Lugoff, South Carolina, Rachel Clay of Sherwood, Arkansas, Robbie Bean of Ward, Arkansas and Dusty Stracener of Pennsylvania; thirteen great-grandchildren.

A celebration of life for Gracie will be held on April 19, 2016 at Bethany Baptist Church in North Little Rock from 6 to 8 p.m.

Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to A Natural State Funeral Service 2620 West Main Jacksonville, Arkansas 72076. 501-982-3400

    God blessed us with a wonderful woman, mother and grandmother. You were awesome to all the children that ever met you. You treated us just like your own kids. I am truly blessed to have been one of those lucky kids..I am so happy you are no longer in pain or hurting. Love you and God has a new Angel, Bless you and Gracie RIP

    She was a large part of Rose City history and will be missed by all of us that grew up under her watchful eyes and kind heart.

    You were one amazingly wonderful lady. I was very blessed to become a part of your family. You accepted and loved me, with only one request….to love your son and make him happy. You are missed every day and will always be in my heart. I love you to the moon and back.
