Jimmy Leroy Brown, 80, of Heber Springs, born May 16, 1935, passed away April 2, 2016. He was preceded in death by his father, Clyde Brown; mother and stepfather, Bernice Markham and Mark Markham; and siblings, Troy and Clyde Brown, and Shotzie Markham. Jimmy was a lifetime member of the American Legion Post 64 and VFW Post 3543.
Survivors include his wife, Tere Sanders Brown; three children, Troy Brown, Jodi Tierney, and Jeri Loya; two sisters, Peggy Kinman and Suzy Clifford; one brother; L.D. Brown; six grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren, and many other friends and family members who loved him.
A memorial service will be held at a later date at American Legion Post 64.
Cremation arrangements are entrusted to A Natural State Funeral Service, 2620 W Main Street, Jacksonville, 501-982-3400.
