Lois Novia Chapel, 88, of Damascus, Arkansas passed from this life on Tuesday, October 18, 2016. She was born on November 10, 1927 in Mena, Arkansas to the late Willis and Ruth Elizabeth Standridge. Lois enjoyed sitting on her porch drinking coffee and watching the birds and squirrels eat each day.
She is survived by her children, Billy Jones (Carolyn), Patricia Arnold (Brad) and Shirley Black (Rick); eight grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, eleven great-great-grandchildren and a host of other family and friends. Lois is also preceded in death by her two brothers and two sisters.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 22, 2016 at 1:00 pm at the Damascus First Baptist Church.
