Larry James Cook, 70, of North Little Rock, Arkansas passed away on Wednesday, January 11, 2017. He was born in Newport, Arkansas on February 16, 1946 to the late Jesse and Ruby Cresteen Cook.

Larry is survived by his loving wife Mary Cook-Silvertooth; two children, Catina (Chris) Green and James Burt Cook, grandchildren Emily Green and Sebastian Nutt, three step-children Kimberly Bryant, Yvonne Goldnick and Michael Bryant, nephews Jason and Jared Cook .  He was also preceded in death by his brother Harley Ray Cook and daughter Consuela Cook.

Larry was a wonderful husband, loving, father and grandfather and a true friend.  He loved fishing with his best friend Joe Bland, writing music and was avid Razorbacks and Cardinals fan. Larry had a great love for his three dogs; Buddy, Lucy and Bandit, who were by his side at all times.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, January 18, 2017 at 11am in the chapel at A Natural State Funeral Service in Jacksonville.  Visitation will be held 1 hour prior to the service. Interment will be immediately following the service at Carter Cemetery in Russell Arkansas.
