Violet Irene Johnson Freeman, 86, of Malvern, Arkansas, went to be with our Lord on the 29th day of January 2017.  Violet was born in Hartshorn, OK to Jake and Dora Elizabeth Bennett Johnson on June 10, 1930.  Violet is preceded in death by her husband Lester Freeman; her son Michael Freeman; her brother Charles E. Johnson; four sisters, Mary L. Moore, Eva F. Scott, Rosa L. Wilson, and Helen M. Anderson, as well as her great-grandson, Sean Paul Kielian. 

Violet is survived by three daughters and three sons, Debbie Winkler, Carol Lackey, Beverly Rice, Allan Freeman, Terry Freeman and Russell Freeman as well as four siblings, Myrtle E. Johnson Freeman, James T. Johnson, and Jerry L. Johnson, and Linda A. Hemry, and an extensive loving family.  Violet was a very sweet and giving person.  To know her was to feel loved.  Matthew 5:4 “Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted.”

A Memorial Service will be held 11:00 am Saturday, February 11, 2017 at Francois Baptist Church located in Gifford with Brother Dillard, officiating.
