Clark Gene Myklebust, 65

Clark Gene Myklebust, 65, fell asleep in death at Hospice Home Care in Little Rock, Arkansas May 18, 2017. 

Clark was born November 30, 1951 in Little Rock to Charles and Shirley Myklebust. Clark is survived by his wife of 19 years, Cheryl Penn Myklebust, of the home, two step-children Michelle Jenkins (Sean) and Michael Major, 4 grandchildren, Jordyn, Lauren, Andrew and Megan, his mother, Shirley Myklebust, 3 sisters Pam Busbea, Mary Jane Teague, Patti Fullington (Andy) and his twin brother Mark Myklebust (Diana) and many nieces and nephews.

Clark worked as a Mercedes Benz mechanic, a dancer instructor and a furniture salesman for Haverty’s and Brandon House. He excelled at each job he had during his life. He especially enjoyed working in his lawn and creating cutting boards out of exotic hardwoods. He could fix anything and was always ready to help friends and family.

Memorial services will be held on Saturday, May 27, 2017 at 2 P.M. in the chapel at A Natural State Funeral Service, 2620 W Main Street Jacksonville, Arkansas 72076. 501-982-3400. Officiated by Dion Johnson.

Cremation arrangements are under the care and direction of A Natural State Funeral Service.

    My deepest sympathies to my great aunt Shirley, and all my wonderful cousins. I remember Clark as “the cool guy” older cousin when I was growing up, being 5 years younger. and like ALL the Butlers and Davis’ the boy COULD dance!

    I have such happy memories of Clark in high school & later as my dance instructor! Great dancer! Clark had a smile equal to his zest for living fully. My sincerest sympathies to the family.
