Dewey F. Meade,54

Dewey F. Meade, age 54, of Jacksonville, passed away on Friday, July 28, 2017.  He was born August 18, 1962 to Lona Meade and the late George E. Meade.  Dewey was an avid hunter and liked to fish and garden.  He never met a stranger.  He retired from AAFES.  He worked many years at Knights Grocery and the Recycling Center.

Dewey is survived by his wife of 23 years, Teresea Meade; son, Danny Meade; sister, Sheila Meade Gray (Paul); brother, Mike Meade (Brett); nephew, Clint Gray; niece, Lori Gray, and many other extended family and friends.

Visitation will be Monday, July 31, from 6 – 8 pm in the Chapel of A Natural State Funeral Service, 2620 W Main Street, Jacksonville, Arkansas, 72076. 

Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, August 1, at 11 A.M. in the Chapel.

    I will really miss Dewey at deer camp. Great hunter who ate lots of venison!! I’ll also miss getting to see, eat snacks with, and talking to Danny.

    I am so very sorry for your loss. Dewey was always nice to me, We had a lot we had a lot of fun growing up together. All of you will be in my prayers.

    Teresa,Danny & all of Dewey’s family.
    We are sorry for your loss.
    To know Dewey you knew he loved his
    family.
    At deer camp he always had a story
    to tell and a smile on his face.
    Dewey usually helping others he was
    a very giving person.
    He will be missed.
    I know we will always remember him.

    So sorry for your loss! Please let us know how we can help. We are just down the street, please keep in touch. I had a family funeral Saturday out of state and found out upon my return. We missed funeral because we did not locate arrangements anywhere online until it was too late. We will keep you and Danny in our thoughts and prayers.
