I’m so sorry for your loss
We are never prepared. Praying for all of you.
So sorry to hear. She taught my son Rick, and later, my grandson. She was always very kind and kept her class so interesting. There was a pumpkin contest in the fall and the kids made Thanksgiving luncheon. Our thoughts and prayers go out to her family
Our love and prayers to each of you… Garry & Louise
So sorry for your loss, but she is in a better place.
Mrs. Leslie had both our children Bill & Niki and our granddaughter Jordyn. What a wonderful teacher & person. So sorry for your lose.
That picture is the Marilyn we knew. Always a warm smile and a loving way about her. Even though over the years we weren’t together as often, as we would have liked when we did get to have some time with Warren & Marilyn, it was as though time stood still. It was this couple who brought Ron & me together 42 years ago. Anything Marilyn did she did above and beyond anyone else. She was an excellent teacher, cook, seemstress, crafter of any kind, loved to sing and yet one of the most humble people I’ve ever known. She loved her husband, Terena, Todd and their families and above all else her Lord & Savior. Marilyn you will be missed but knowing you are whole again is ver comforting to us and I’m sure to her family.
So sorry to hear about Mrs. Leslie. Both my son and daughter had her for their first grade teacher and they both loved her! I will always be thankful for the compassion that she had for her students. She was a great teacher and I am very grateful that my children got the opportunity to have her as their teacher. She will always be remembered.
So sorry for your loss. I taught first grade with Marilyn in Durand. Hugs to all of you!

Great friend, co-worker and teacher! So sorry for her family’s loss
Such a beautiful picture of our friend. I met Warren & Marilyn 42 years ago when they introduced Ron & me. Marilyn owas the most talented person I think I’ve ever met. She was an excellent cook, seemwtress, crafter, teacher and friend and she was also the most humble person we’ve ever known. When you’d tell her how good the pie was, or how beautiful the craft was she would always shy away from the compliment. When we would have the chance to get together with Warren & Marilyn which often was only once a year or so it was as though time stood still. The friendship was always there. We will miss Marilyn but knowing she is whole again and with her Lord & Savior is so comforting. We’re praying for Warren, Terena & Todd and their families in this time of loss and the days ahead.
Ohhh my Lord gained a wonderful and beautifully angel. My heartfelt prayers go to all of you! (warren, Trina,Todd and families) I will always hold a special place for all of you and especially Marilyn in my heart that my Lord lives also.
First Grade at Robert Kerr was covered by three great teachers Mrs. Leslie, Mrs Williamson & Mrs. Leland. Each one a gem!
So sorry for your loss. We bought their house on Seymour Rd., Gaines, Mi. And we benefitted from the beautiful yard and all the beautiful flowers she planted. Lyle, my husband loved working around the yard and we enjoyed the home and all the flowers until he passed away in 2002. Warren &a Marilyn were wonderful people. I’m thankful to have known them.
May our Lord be your comfort in this time of sorrow. We are praying for our dear friend, Warren, and all your family. We will certainly miss Marilyn. Much love to you all!
You t in our prayers
Earths great loss and Heavens treasure now. Marilyns sweet spirit and smile watmed every heart and soul she came in contact with. My pleasure to have her example of a Godly Woman. May her memories continue to bless your family.
We are so sorry for your loss. She was truly a remarkable woman. Prayers are with you.
I know how difficult this time must be for you. May the light from God’s word the Bible be a guide and comfort through the darkness of your loss. John 5:28,29 gives hope of a future resurrection and Rev 21:3,4 of a day when there will be no more death, mourning or pain. We can have faith in these promises because our God Jehovah (Psalm 83:18) who promised these things cannot lie.
Heaven has gained a new angel. Love and prayers of comfort to Marilyn’s loved ones. Marilyn was our neighbor and friend for many years on Seymour Rd.
Marilyn was a good friend. She sang in the choir at Central Nazarene in the Alto section near me. She was always faitthful to her Lord and family. We enjoyed Marilyn and Warrens company when we visited them in Florida. She finished the race and has received her reward. Prayers for the family.
