Our sweet Aunt Geneva could make anybody laugh, she had the most infectious laugh. I use to love to tease her and say things that I knew she would laugh about. On her trip out to California with her twin sister Eva to visit their older sister Willine (mom) we had the best time, We laughed, gambled, visited old boyfriends, shopped and walked the beaches. I will keep these memories close to my heart always. Those will always be my most precious memories of Aunt Geneva. I love you so much and will miss you dearly until I see you and mom again. I know God and the family are with you now, until we meet again just know I deeply love you.

My sweet, dearest Mother … You taught me so much in life and were the glue to hold the family together through the years. While you had so little, you gave so much and were the strongest woman I’ve ever met in my life. I will miss you unbelievably for you won’t be there for me to call or to come visit anymore. I will cherish the memories we’ve had and I know you’re in great hands serving our Lord and Savior and I look forward to the day we get to be together again. I love you so much!

    Your son,
    Larry

Geneva, We will miss your sweet smile and loving kindness. You loved your children and always worried about them. We will miss your voice and silliness. We will miss those late evening calls Gary always made to you every single night to say he loved you and goodnight. I know you are at peace and you are watching over your babies, dancing with your loved ones in heaven. So happy I knew you. You are loved and missed.

    • Gary Garnett Posted August 29, 2017 12:31 AM

That’s so sweet baby, thank you … she loved you like a daughter, and you know this. I appreciate all you did for mom … I love you.

Aunt Geneva you will truly be missed and always loved forever. You’re and have always been one of a kind greatest women anyone had the pleasure of knowing. You were Always so funny, charismatic, and one of the most beautiful woman that we’ve known and there’s so much than that of why we love you. And will miss your honesty with you being the most out spoken woman with having no trouble telling anyone what you wanted or thought. That’s just a few things we could name of how much we love you and our memories that we will cherish and miss. Thank you for being our aunt and we will greatly miss you more than you know. You will always be in our hearts and we will carry it forever. There’s never going to be another you and never will be but always remember we will have you in our hearts and cherish our times together and we’re blessed that you was in our life.

Mother, I will surely miss you being concerned for me and all your children, even though we were all adults. You would check on me when I was sick, giving advice, even if I exerted playing ball, or just driving home from a night out singing and a little drinking. You had uncanny timing, like you knew when I was getting home. We were your babies, no matter what …I’ll miss kidding around with you, and you giving it back to me. You knew everyone’s birthday, no matter who it was … I’ll miss saying goodnight to you, everynight, and saying I love you, and you saying it to me. You will always be with me … rest easy, I love you so much mom …
