James Robert Taylor, 36, of North Little Rock, was born May 23, 1981 and went to be with his Lord and Savior on Monday, August 21, 2017. He is preceded in death by his grandfather, Robert H. Taylor, grandparents, Lester and Mary Alice Yearty, and grandfather, Jack Earl Schmidt I.
James is survived by his wife, Cristy Childers Taylor. He is also survived by his son, Anderson; step-sons, Dylan and Easton McKinzie; parents, Judy (Jack) Schmidt and Robert (Debra) Taylor; sisters, Jennifer (Chip) Goree, Nancy Schmidt (Damon Law), and Amanda (Jay) Smith; grandmother, Jo Taylor; grandmother, Kay Schmidt; nephews, David (Katie), Austin, and Jason; nieces, Bailey (Franko) Salazar and Elizabeth; and many close friends and family.
James graduated from North Little Rock High School in 1999. James worked for Dassault Falcon Jet for over ten years as a Cabinet Maker. He made his home in North Little Rock.
James was an avid hunter and loved the outdoors. The only things James loved more than his time in nature was God & his family. He will be remembered for his dry but funny off the cuff sense of humor. He also enjoyed getting together with his family to enjoy a good meal and a good laugh.
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 25 from 6 P.M. – 8 P.M. at A Natural State Funeral Service, 2620 West Main Street, Jacksonville, Arkansas, 72076.
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday August 26, at 10 A.M. Entombment will be private at Rest Hills in Sherwood.
