Annie Lois Cox, 78

Annie Lois Cox, age 78, of Pocola, Oklahoma, went to be with the Lord on November 9, 2017. She was born on August 28, 1939. Annie worked as a Nurse at Rose Care Retirement Center in Fort Smith for 20 years. She was a member of Cowboy Church in Poteau, Oklahoma. She was the first female Constable in Arkansas. She was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Staton D. Cox, Pocola, Oklahoma, son, Johnny Freeman of Tulloma, Tennessee, and granddaughter, Jennifer Abbott of Jacksonville, Arkansas.

Annie is survived by daughters, Beverly Harris of Jacksonville, Arkansas, and Linda Abbott of Ward, Arkansas; son, Billy Cox of Pocola, Oklahoma; eleven grandchildren; thirteen great- grandchildren, and one great-great granddaughter.

She will be greatly missed by all who loved her.

Cremation arrangements entrusted to A Natural State Funeral Service, 2620 West Main Street, Jacksonville, Arkansas, 72076. 501-982-3400.

    Momma it is so hard to say “ Goodbye “.
    Your a Wonderful, Christian,Beautiful, and Loving Mother.
    I miss you so very much Already.
    I will never forget All the Memories we made Together. All the laughs, Hugs. Saying I LOVE YOU ❤️ to each other.
    Please give Jennifer ( Sissy) a Big Hug from me.
    Please tell her I Love and Miss her too.
    One day soon we will All Be Together and Never have to say Good Bye again.
    Thank you God for giving me such a Precious Mother ❤️
