Carissa A. Garrison, age 38

Carissa Ann Garrison, age 38, of Bryant, passed away on Wednesday, January 17, 2018.  She was born in Little Rock, Arkansas on June 26, 1979 to Robert W. Garrison and Rebecca A. Bearden.  She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Betty and Arbra Garrison; grandfather, Samuel Bearden; uncle, Terry Bearden, and cousin, Michael Bearden.

Carissa is survived by her daughter, Alexis Butler; her mother, Rebecca Berthelson; her father, Robert W. Garrison (Cami); brothers, Robert Garrison (Liz), Casey Garrison, and John Scroggins; sisters, Christie McConnell, Shawna Dawson (J.T.), and Destiny Garrison; aunts and uncles, Glenn and Juanita Bearden, Mike and Marsha Bearden, Angela Milam, Wally Garrison and Billy Garrison, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends to include co-workers at Taco Bell and associates at MAPCO.

Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to A Natural State Funeral Service, 2620 West Main Street, Jacksonville, Arkansas, 72076. 501-982-3400.

    My Angele carissa garrison I will always remember the first time we meet and you became my daughter. For the long years I took care of you and your brother and sister. Yall became part of my life I raised you for 12 yr as my on,ill never let go of the joy you brung to my life. Your smile. And weatie ways that made you the beautiful person. You became,strong, inherited., loving mother ,just. You R,I,P,baby mom loves you and will never let you go. You will always remain in my heart,love you

    i’m Leticia Crook Baker’s Mom . I remember many nights Carissa stayed nights at our home and even staying in contact with us . I pray she is at peace and will always be in our hearts and mind .
