Annie Laurie Ogilvie Flanagan, 87, widow of Jack M. Flanagan passed away at home with family and friends surrounding her after a brief battle with cancer.
Besides her husband Jack, she is preceded in death by her parents Charles Reese and Mollie (Hilliard) Ogilvie, brothers Bill and Jimmy Ogilvie, son John Almond Jr. and great-grandson Caden Ingle.
She is survived by daughters Susan Cunningham (Richard) and Becky Almond Cheatham (Mitch); grandchildren Amie Gaither (Brad), Charlotte Daniels (Katie Riegel), Adam Almond (Jennifer), Kimberly Roland, Amanda Staples (Steve) and Nelson Ingle (Kelsey). Great-grandchildren Bailey Daniels; Jared Riley and Sarah Morales; Abby and Hana Staples; Mary Elizabeth, Abby and Jones Roland; Sophia and Samantha Gaither; Ellie and Oliva Almond. Also, special friends Joyce Mahoney, Belinda Griffin, Jonas Smith, Tommy and Omie Rogers and Gina Ingle. The Kindred Hospice caretakers, Brandon LeQuieu, RN and Heather Crow, CNA; many special friends she considered family.
She spent her life in service to others through scouting and drill teams with her kids. She was an Activities Director at several places and especially as an Adolescent Alcohol and Drug Counselor at several facilities before she finally retired at 65 years old then again at 75 years old.
Memorial services will be held on Saturday, March 3, 2018 at Immanuel Baptist Church in Carlisle, Arkansas, at 11:00 A.M. with visitation at 10:00 A.M. Brother Bill Ricks and Father Shaun Wesley officiating.

Annie Laurie was a special cousin and friend. Named after my grandmother, Annie Laurie Cooper, she and I have a special bond. We will all miss her greatly.
I will miss my sweet Aunt dearly. I have so many fond memories of her. Sending love to Susan, Becky and their famiies.
