Mr. and Mrs. Hogan:
I worked with Ethan at the Jacksonville Kroger. While my contact with Ethan was minimal, it was clear to me that Ethan was a fine young man. He was clean cut, well groomed and extremely polite always addressing me and those who were considered his elders as Yes Sir, No Sir or simply Sir or Ma’am. I am saddened and heartbroken to hear of this young man’s untimely passing and cannot possibly imagine your loss and heart ache. Ethan considered respect of others as a virtue and his legacy was formed and shaped at home. What a strong testament to his Mother and his Father. I know I’ll miss this young man. Please know that you and your entire family are in my thoughts and prayers. May Our Lord and Savior lift each of you up and provide you the strength and courage to continue forward in Ethan’s memory. My God bless you through this difficult time and the days and years to come. Our loss of Ethan is God’s gain.
Sending prayers and love your way. I am so sorry for your loss.
Our thoughts and prayers are with the family!

I did not know Ethan personally, but I ‘ve experienced your gut wrenching grief in the loss of my 14 yr old grandson. Your loss touches me with profound sorrow. You can depend on my fervent prayers. I would do anything to help take your pain away, but there is nothing anyone can say or do to ease this time of grief. Please know I’m here if just to listen.

So saddened by this tragic accident.Such a fine looking young man.So respectfull when we last saw him at deer camp.He ate breakfast with us and I was impressed by his manners .Shy but so very sweet God be with him and his familyThis life is short but there is everlasting life in heaven
I was so impressed with Ethan at deer camp.He made a big impression around the camp fire.So respectful. Ethan and our grandson Nathan bonded that weekend. We could tell he was having a really good time with Gary one on one. You all are in our prayers
My wife & I did not know Ethan, but we regret the sorrow you feel – we grieved the lost a son who was just a little older than your Ethan, in an electrical mishap. I’m sure it doesn’t feel so right now, but we can tell you that as time passes you will be able to remember more of the good times and dwell less on your loss. We found that each person grieves in a different way and at different times, so we encourage each of you to allow for those differences in your families.
We are of the Christian faith and as we dealt with our pain we came to understand that God is still sovereign even when we don’t understand tragedy. May you find comfort as you walk through this “valley of the shadow of death” and may friends share their good memories of Ethan with you.

I didn’t know this family or young man but all the great thing said about him let’s me know he is greatly missed and only God and time can heal the broken hearts from his passing prayers from Hazen, Arkansas God bless you all and give you strength.
Prayers for the family and friends from Hazen Arkansas.
I want to express my sincerest condolences. May you find comfort in the beautiful hope that the Bible provides. John 5:28, 29 says: “Do not be amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out, those who did good things to a resurrection of life.”
Ethan, you will be missed so much! I remember when you and I first met at work (Kroger) , I asked you to go get my gum off of the table in the break room, and you wrote your number on the piece of gum I got!
I pray that God looks over you guys as this journey has just begun. Your family is in our prayers and don’t hestaite to let us know if you need anything.
– Corey.
