Joan Oxner, 77 of Cabot, Arkansas went to be with her Lord and Savior on March 13, 2018. She was born on May 24, 1940 in Ipswich, England to the late Harold and Elsie Quarton. Joan was a member of Zion Hill Baptist Church in Cabot, enjoyed going bowling, attending church activities, and was a member of the home economics club. She worked for over 19 years in the Pulaski County School district cafeteria.
She is also preceded in death by her brothers; Ivor and Peter Quarton. Joan is survived by her loving husband of 57 years, Wesley Oxner; four children, Deborah Patrick (Kevin), Wayne Oxner (Karen), Julie Gaither (David), Sharon Strickland (Mitchel); thirteen grandchildren, Christopher, Lauren, Shelby, Ashley, Brooke, Spencer, Carter, Ava, Sarah, Tristan, Adam, Zachary, Kamilynn; ten great-grandchildren, Haleigh, Lucy, Eve, Starr, Taeylyn, Kambrea, Kaleb, Aiden, Aliyah, Lennon; brothers, Denny, Ray and Derek Quarton; sisters, Elsie Cook and Beryl Minks and a host of other family and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 17, 2018 at Zion Hill Baptist Church in Cabot, Arkansas from 11-12pm with funeral services to follow at 12pm. Burial will be at Sumner Cemetery in Cabot, Arkansas following the funeral service.

Aunt Joan was such a sweet lady, she will be missed dearly. She is with the Lord celebrating for sure.
