Martha Marie McMahon, 82 of Cabot, Arkansas passed from this life April 30, 2018. She was born on April 21, 1936 in Nederland, Texas to the late James Jefferson and Loyce Bennett. Martha enjoyed singing, telling jokes, spending time with her family and volunteering at local nursing homes, the Cabot City Beautiful project and with the Little Rock Convention Center Visitors Bureau.
She is survived by her loving husband of 56 years, William McMahon; three children, Greg McMahon (Denise), Caryle Thompson (James), Belinda Cochran (David); eleven grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; one sister, Myra Courts and a host of other family and friends. Martha is also preceded in death by her sister, Marianne Bennett and a grandson, Isaac Brannon McMahon.
Funeral services will take place on Saturday, May 5, 2018 at 1 P.M. at A Natural State Funeral Service in Jacksonville, Arkansas. Visitation will be from 12-1 P.M. prior to the funeral. Burial will be held on Monday, May 7, 2018 at 10:00am at Mt. Carmel Cemetery in Cabot, Arkansas.
