John W. Green, 61 of Jacksonville, Arkansas passed from this life to be with his Lord on July 21, 2018. He was born in Hornell, New York on December 29, 1956 to Howard Dale and Mary Lou Green. John worked until January 2017 as a shop foreman and master mechanic for Crain Hyundai in Sherwood.
He is survived by his wife and high school sweet heart of 40 years, Jane Green; one daughter, Tricia Scott (Justin); grandchildren, Nicholas Green and Olivia Scott; two brothers, Alan Green (Sharon) and James Green (Deb); father, Dale Green (Mary Jane) and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. John is preceded in death by his mother Mary Lou Green.
John was loved by many and will be greatly missed by all.
A time of family visitation and fellowship will be held on Thursday July 26, 2018 from 6-8pm at A Natural State Funeral Service 2620 West Main Street in Jacksonville. Memorial services will take place on Friday July 27, 2018 at 10:00am at the funeral home.

so sorry for your familys loss, john was a very special person, he was a good friend to all that knew him.
He was like another father to me. He was always there to make me laugh. There was never a dull moment with him. Love you John. My prayers are with you Jane and Tricia.

I loved helping care for John. I loved his dry, sarcastic sense of humor. The days I’d get to see him were definitely the fun parts of my day. I am so sorry for your loss. I pray that God gives you peace in this difficult time.
I’m sad to here this friends forever . I remember when they moved there. I remember the chevy pick up and what it said on the sticker on the speedometer …. speed kills .. I never forgot that sticker.. R.I.P MY FRIEND…
