Carolyn Davis (Gilbert-Page- Chism), 69, returned to the Lord on September 27, 2018. She was the only child of her father Grover L. Gilbert. She was a Daddy’s Girl who enjoyed dancing, caring for the elderly and singing.
She was a wonderful, true-Southern cook who never measured as she went, so much so, she was lovingly nick named “Pork Chop” by some. She was a mother to three girls, a grandmother to seven and a great-grandmother to four.
For years she taught Sunday School in Batesville and was an avid believer in Christ. Carolyn looked forward to Halloween and would make friends wherever she went.
She is greatly missed by her family and her passing was far to soon. The family takes great comfort knowing she is in the company of the loving arms of her mother and father.
Visitation will be held Monday, October 1, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at A Natural State Funeral Service, 2620 West Main, Jacksonville, Arkansas 72076. 501-982-3400.
Funeral service to follow at 12:00 p.m. at Pine Crest Memorial Park, 7401 Hwy 5 N, Alexander, Arkansas.

i will always cherish the memories of this lady from childhood. The death of a loved one is very hard to bear. She will live on each day inside your heart and be with you always. My deepest sympathies to your family during this difficult time. I love you guys.
