James Roy Camp, Sr., 75

James Roy Camp, Sr., 75, of North Little Rock, Arkansas passed away on Saturday, January 12, 2019.  He was born to the late George W. Camp, Sr. and Millie Dossett-Camp on May 25, 1943 in Sweet Home, Arkansas.

He was a certified master mechanic who loved working on all types of automobiles, he worked with the State of Arkansas as a Fire Marshall, he was on the McAlmont Volunteer Fire Department, he loved race cars and towing cars as a hobby.  James was a wonderful loving husband, father, grandfather and friend to everyone in his life.

He is preceded in death by his brother Robert Camp; a niece Amanda Hobbs and a granddaughter Mandie Milligan.

James leaves behind a loving, devoted wife of 47 years, Pamela Camp; his children James Camp, Jr., Stacy Dawn Camp, Ashley Camp-Milligan (Josh, Sr.) and Shane Hobbs; his grandchildren Andrew, Dalton, Dillion, JJ, Justin, Shyanne, Hunter and Alicia; his great-grandchildren Karolina, Ariya and Harper; his brother George Camp (Geraldine) his special daughter Tammy Cheadle and many other relatives and friends.

Family memorial service will be held on Friday, January 18, 2019 at Berea Baptist Church, 104 East Valentine Road, Jacksonville, Arkansas at 2:00 P.M.

Memorial will be on Friday, January 25, 2019 from 2:30 P.M. at A Natural State Funeral Service, 2620 West Main Street, Jacksonville, Arkansas, 72076. 501-982-3400

    I hate to see this Jim was a good friend for many many years and worked with me for many years HE was a good friend who i will deeply miss family you are in my prayers for the days ahead if I can do anything please let me know love you all.

    Bubba you will be so missed . But I know you are in my heart. You were my dad not a brother in law. I miss you so much already.

    Pam I’m so sorry for the loss of Jim. I can’t even imagine what you’re going through. I’ve tried too call several times but can get no answer. If you need too talk give me a call. I’m sorry I couldn’t come too the service, but I’m sick.
