Ian James Jeffrey, 72

Ian James Jeffrey, 72, of Malvern passed away on Tuesday, February 12, 2019. He was born on November 8, 1946 to the late Owondo Lucille Shellman.

He gave his faith to Jesus Christ of the Latter-Day Saints and he was a Veteran of the United States Marines.  Ian was a member of the Arkansas Sasquatch Society who loved his family and friends. He was a peace maker who always wanted to bring people together, who loved the outdoors and making everyone smile and laugh.

He is preceded in death by his mother and a brother Archie Jeffrey.

Ian leaves behind his family and friends to remember him. He leaves his siblings Ray Pratt (Renee), Theresa Grimes (Bruce) and sister Joanne; a nephew James Thomason and special family Carol Thomason (Wes); as well as many nieces and nephews.

    One of the greatest men I have ever come to know and love and even though he is gone through me and all of his other loved ones and through the lord himself, Ian’s love,hope,grace,and,spirit will continue on. through all of us…and now it is up to us to continue making people laugh and have fun as Ian would have wanted…..We will see you again my friend

    Ian was an amazing person. I consider Ian my uncle. He always knew how to put a smile on someone’s face. I loved hearing all of Ian’s stories about his life. He will be greatly missed but he will forever be in my heart. Rest high Uncle Ian.
