Brother Jimmie Coakley, age 72, of Little Rock, departed this life February 21, 2019 at St. Vincent Hospital. He was born September 10, 1946 to the Mr. Erastus and Clara Coakley in Little Rock, Arkansas. Jimmie is preceded in death by two brothers, George L. McDaniel and Sherman Johnson, and one sister, Mae Helen Pearson. He confessed a hope in Christ at an early age and joined Macedonia Baptist Church where he remained a member until his death.
He leaves to mourn, two brothers, Erastus Coakley (Doris) and Lloyd Coakley (Garnette); one sister, Ruby Jewel Booth (Alvin), and a host of nephews, nieces, great nephews, great nieces, cousins, and a host of friends.
Memorial Service will be held Saturday, March 9, 2019, 11:00 am at Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church, 1723 East 3rdSt, Little Rock.
