Gene Walter Stapp Jr., 69 of Romance, Arkansas passed away on Friday, March 1, 2019 in Searcy, Arkansas. He was born in Junction, Texas on December 10, 1949 to the late Gene and Bonnie Stapp.
He was a welder by trade and was also known as a gentle man who loved everyone. Gene would give you the shirt off his back if you needed it. He will be missed dearly by all who knew him.
Per his wishes no services will be held.

Gene, thank you for teaching this Texas gal how to restore a vintage pickup from a long time abandoned deer blind, I loved that truck and we made some fine memories. Thank you so much for being my friend when I needed one, and even when I didn’t, you were always there when it mattered. Tell Dennis we said hi, and we will be looking for the two of you when we get to that fishing hole in the sky. Rest in peaceful dreams 🙏🏾 💜
