Janet Clement, 88, of Sherwood passed from this life on May 5, 2019. She was born to Winfield and Margaret Aiguier on December 8, 1930 in Kearny, New Jersey.
Janet was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Winifred Cates. She is survived by her husband of 66 years, Rondell R. Clement; two sons, Mark (Teresa), and Paul; four grandchildren, Adam Clement (Lauren), Eryn Clement, Samantha Colter and Aley Colter and three great grandchildren.
Janet was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and Sunday school teacher. She was adored by all who knew her. Janet was an eternal optimist and saw the good in everyone she knew. She always looked for the best in others and everyone who knew her was a better person by simply being in her presence. She never spoke an unkind word about anyone.
She loved sewing quilts and clothing for family. She was an excellent mother, homemaker, and cook. Janet was compassionate, kind, caring, loving, and patient. She was passionate about teaching Sunday school and was an exemplary role model to her students and anyone who crossed her path.
Janet has touched many lives and will live on in the hearts of those who were blessed enough to know her.
Services will be Thursday, May 9, at Jacksonville Church of Christ, 6003 Jacksonville Cutoff Road, Jacksonville, Arkansas. Visitation will begin at 11:00 a.m. Memorial service will begin at 12:00 p.m.
