Vearl D. Hogan, 77, of Jacksonville, passed away on May 7, 2019. He was born June 20, 1941, in Leachville, Arkansas to the late J.W. Hogan and Naoma McEntyre.
Vearl was a Veteran of the United States Navy. He enjoyed spending time with his family, kids and grandkids. He also loved to be outdoors while enjoying hunting and fishing.
Vearl was preceded in death by his Father- J.W. Hogan; Mother- Naoma McEntyre; Wife- Peggy Hogan; Daughter- DeeDee Hogan; Son- Kenneth Clark; Brother- Danny Hogan; and Grandson- Ethan Hogan. He leaves behind his Siblings- Sandra Posey, Donald Hogan, Truman Hogan, Noble Weatherford; Sons- Todd Hogan (Lisa), Tony Hogan (Pamerla); Daughters- Becky Carter (Ronnie), Kristie Thomas; Grandchildren- Wesley Hogan, Cody Carter, Cayla Sawyer, Amber Carter, Kenny Clark, Kayla Golding, Megan Thomas; and Great-Grandchildren,
Memorial Service will be held Saturday, May 11, 2019 at 10:00 A.M. at Bayou Meto Baptist Church off Hwy 107 in Jacksonville.
