Shirley Carolyn Williams, 83

Shirley Carolyn Williams, 83, of Jacksonville, Arkansas passed from this life on Thursday, June 6, 2019. She was born February 4, 1936 in Judsonia, Arkansas to the late Noami Mae and Lawrence Edmond Lenoard.

Shirley was a long-time member of First United Methodist Church. She graduated from Jacksonville High School in 1954 and was an avid Razorback fan as well as a St. Louis Cardinals Baseball fan.  She always enjoyed taking the RV to the Razorback games with family and friends. She never missed the annual camping trips with her kids in the spring and also in October for the Hallmark family reunion. She was a homemaker and raised her three beautiful children.

She leaves behind her loving husband and best friend of over 65 years Les Williams Jr., a son, Charles Williams (Anne), two daughters; Debra Hunt and Lezlie Lovercheck; five grandchildren Shawn Hunt, Joshua Williams, Amber Mayfield, Jacob Lovercheck and Emily Lovercheck, seven great grandchildren Laiken May, Kassie Brown, Darci Turbifill, Carsen Hunt, Sarah Williams, Scarlet Williams, and Brinkley Hunt, and two great-great grandchildren Savvy May and Chancellor Brown, two sisters Sandra Brooks, and Marsha Rainwater, plus a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

She is preceded in death by her two brothers Wayne Leonard, and Tommy Leonard, and one sister Barbara Boyd.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 8thfrom 6- 8 P.M. in the chapel at A Natural State Funeral Service, 2620 West Main Street in Jacksonville.
Funeral Services will be held on Sunday, June 9that 1:30 P.M. at First United Methodist Church, 308 West Main Street, in Jacksonville with internment to follow at Arkansas Memorial Gardens, 8507 South Highway 161, in Jacksonville.

Memorials in Shirley’s honor can be made to First United Methodist Church in Jacksonville.
