Thomas Lee “Cannon Ball” Mashburn, Jr., 51

Thomas Lee “Cannon Ball” Mashburn, Jr., 51 of Jacksonville went to be with the Lord on June 27, 2019.  He was born in Little Rock, Arkansas on December 30, 1967 to the late Lois Marie and Thomas Lee Mashburn Sr.

Thomas was a life-long resident of Jacksonville, the owner of Mashburn Construction and Siding Company and a member of Panola Missionary Baptist Church. He was a caring man that loved his family with all his heart.  Many knew Thomas as “Cannon Ball” the man with a great sense of humor and very giving heart.  

He is survived by four sisters; Joyce Simmons (Desmond), Cleta Whatley (John), Barbara Ann Mashburn, and Wanda Sanders, two brothers; James Lee Mashburn (Christina) and Oliver Perry Mashburn, nephew Jason Sanders, and niece Sara Rhines, and uncle James Clee Mashburn (Margaret) as well as a host of other nieces, nephews, loved ones and friends.  

Thomas was also preceded in death by his grandparents Oliver Clyde Morgan and Mary Ella Morgan, a brother Michael Wayne Mashburn, a sister Ellen Louise Humble and an uncle Bobby Andrew Mashburn. 

A time of Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 2, 2019 from 6 P.M. until 8 P.M. in the chapel at A Natural State Funeral Service, 2620 West Main Street, Jacksonville, Arkansas, 72076. 

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, July 13, 2019 at 2 P.M. at Westside Baptist Church 417 Dupree Dr, Jacksonville, Arkansas, 72076.

    Tom was a great guy. He loved his family and friends. He would help anyone that asked. He will be greatly missed. Sending my condolences to his family.
