Thomas Lee Pertuis JR was born on June 1, 1949 in Dermott, Arkansas to the late Thomas Lee Pertuis, SR and Emma Lou Pertuis. Thomas is survived by his wife of 30 years, Betty Jean Pertuis; brothers Allen Ray Pertuis and Darrell Lynn Pertuis; and children Christina Dumler, Katrina Hurtado, Steven Pertuis and Stephanie Pertuis.
On May 15, 2019, Thomas joined his brother Donald Wayne Pertuis and two oldest children Thomas Lee Pertuis III and Tonya Pertuis in eternal rest in Heaven. He succumbed to cancer two weeks before his 70th birthday surrounded by those who love him most. Thomas will forever be remembered and loved as a son, brother, father, and husband.
Thomas was a retired heavy equipment/tower crain operator for Weyehaeuser and followed up his passion until he retired from another company that laid foundation to the bypass in Hot Springs in the mid 90s. His favorite hobbies consisted of hunting, fishing, and tinkering with old cars.
