Was so very sorry to hear about Rocky’s death, I had followed his difficult journey. I was proud to have known him, in school, he was a wonderful man and I can see by all the love surrounding him that his beautiful family adored him, as did his friends and classmates. I pray for your family for strength and comfort during your hard days ahead. God bless your family

This is very much belated, but my condolences to the Harvey family, You have probably never heard of me, but I am family… if I made the connections correctly, Rocky was my 2nd cousin, my mom (Roberta Smith Cole) was his first cousin. My grandmother’s maiden name was Hazel Rocky Harvey (married Robert B. Smith) and she was the sister of Rocky’s dad, Dewey Harvey. I actually remember my great-uncle Dewey, but I was a little girl the last time I saw him. I’m sorry, I don’t mean to digress so, I just wanted to introduce myself and pay my respects, and maybe even open a line of communication between 2 branches of the same family. God bless and keep you all in the days to come. Sherri (Cole) Benson
