Charles Dunlap, 80, of El Paso passed away on November 17, 2019. He was born in DeSoto County, Mississippi to the late Leonard and Julia Dunlap on April 8, 1939.
He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother and friend. He belonged to the Masons, he loved to fish and be outdoors; as his eyesight became worse, he always enjoyed working with his hands to stay busy.
He is preceded in death by his wife Betty June Dunlap, two daughters Gail Jones and Denita Gallespie, his siblings Emmett Dunlap, Richard Dunlap, Robert Dunlap, Freida Dunlap, Serena Irvin and Lauren Bennett.
Charles leaves behind his loving children David Geater (Shirley) of Cabot, Arkansas and Edward Geater (Karen) of Benton, Arkansas, Lajuan Robinson of Orange County, California; 13 grandchildren; a host of great-grandchildren; his siblings Ann Sowell of Independence, Mississippi, Shirley Savage of Horn Lake, Mississippi, Kay Ervin of Ingram Mills, Mississippi, Mary Whitehead (Daniel) of Independence, Mississippi, Audry Sowell (Bo) of Independence, Mississippi and Lacey Dunlap of Alabama and many extended friends and relatives.
Visitation will be Thursday, November 21, 2019 at 9:00 A.M. at A Natural State Funeral Service, 2620 West Main Street, Jacksonville, Arkansas with funeral service beginning at 10:00 A.M.
