Paul David Roachell, 76 of North Little Rock, entered Heaven’s gates on Tuesday, November 12, 2019 in Little Rock. He was born in Little Rock, Arkansas on May 29, 1943 to the late Luther W. and Orban Q. Roachell.
He was a loving father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend. Paul was a proud US Navy Veteran and served our country from 1961 through 1965; later retiring from the Arkansas Democrat mail room. Paul was a collector of sorts, enjoyed spending his time going to antique malls, and working with his hands. In his later years he fell in love with his 2007 Jaguar convertible.
Paul is survived by his son, Bill Roachell (Lisa), of Conway, two daughters; Karen Roachell, of Benton, and Teresa Taylor (Carl), of Bauxite, three grandchildren; Kirsten Bain (Chris), Summar Roachell, and Bryce Taylor, and a great-granddaughter Ranglin Bain two brothers; Charles Roachell (Phyllis) and Tommy Roachell, his best friend Kathy Chunn, as well as a host of loving nieces, nephews, and friends.
He was also preceded in death by seven brothers; Frank James Roachell, Luther Junior Roachell, Bill Roachell, Bobby Roachell, Richard Leon Roachell, Woodrow Roachell, Travis Roachell, and three sisters; Alice Corey, Christine Moran and Theo Roachell.
A gathering of friends and family will be held at New Life Baptist Church, 10765 Samples Road in Alexander AR 72002 on Monday, November 18, 2019 from 6-8 P.M.
Celebration of Life services will be held on Tuesday, November 19, 2019 at 11:00 at the church with brother Jeff Hulsizer officiating.
Inurnment will be private at the Arkansas Veterans Cemetery at a later date.
