Helping Families and Friends Honor Their Loved One

Kerry Sewell, age 69

Kerry Sewell, 69, of North Little Rock was called home by God on December 6, 2019.  He was born in Madison, Tennessee to the late Sammy Douglas and Mary Lucille Sewell on March 4, 1950.

Kerry met the love of his life, Vickie Buford Sewell, on February 23, 1971 on a blind date, they had a second date on February 25th when we went to see Love Story; met parents the next week and they were married on March 18, 1971. He loved flea markets, fishing, old movies, books, especially the Bible. He loved and worked with computers all of his life and enjoyed gardening and talking to God. He was an amazing man and will always be in our hearts.  He was a loving family man who loved and cared deeply.

He leaves behind his loving wife of 48 years, Vickie Sewell; his only son Matt Sewell (Cyndi – Kay Kay); Will Sewell, Austin Hoffman, and Kayla Sewell; his brothers Trent Depriest, Rick Sewell, and Ken Sewell; his sister Doran Sewell and his in-laws Jeannie Tedford, Joel Jackson, Doug Jackson, Ross Jackson.

A private family ceremony will be held this week.  In lieu of flowers our wish is to receive gift cards such as Visa, Mastercard, or Kroger to assist with the meals and other expenses in the upcoming weeks.

Kerry is now in Heaven, he always said God put us together and God will keep us together until we meet again.

I loved attending meetings with Kerry when we worked together. His smile and humor always made for a better time even when we had difficult tasks in front of us. His laugh always comforted me. I pray for peace and love for the family.

I love you Uncle Kerry. I have so memories of you even though everyone else seems to have forgotten my existance, you told me long ago youd never forget me. I think about you a lot. I pray everybody finds Jesus and makes things straight.
