One of the finest gentlemen I have had the privilege of knowing. We spent many wonderful times together with our friends and neighbors in the party room at Plaza Towers. I will always have fond memories of Darrel. Love and sincerest condolences to all of you.

We enjoyed his music at Marlsgate for 30 years. He played piano in our home for many events. We loved him and will miss him very much.

Connie was a kind and caring man. Went to school with him at Monroe Junior High and then McLain High School. Joy I know you are missing him so much. He’s in a good place now.

Darrell was a best friend of my youth. He inspired me to learn to play the piano, which I did, and encouraged me as a left handed person to not give up, and even though it was hard, I continued to practice my runs on the piano. I thank God for Darrels friendship through the years. One of the most important times in my life was when he played the piano for mine and my wife’s, Karen, wedding. Our love and prayers are with his family.
