Blane Boring Goins, 55, of North Little Rock, Arkansas, passed away November 18th, 2019. He was born December 4, 1963, in Peoria, Illinois, and was the son of the late David and Joanne Goins.
Survivors include his brother, Derek Goins; niece and nephew, Ciara and Justin Goins; great-nieces, Sienna Cantrell and Brinley Goins; many cousins, aunts and uncles; and his close friends, Scott Lawrence and Linda Blucker, as well as numerous friends and acquaintances.
An entrepreneur at heart, Blane is remembered for his great sense of humor, compassion, and desire to help others. He also loved music, especially the rock band, Van Halen. As a young adult, Blane wanted to be a business owner like his father, and he opened a restaurant—Brunch Inc.–in downtown Little Rock with partner and friend, Scott Lawrence. Later in life after discovering the gift of sobriety, Blane was instrumental in helping many others follow a similar path.
Memorial services will be on Saturday, February 29th at 1:30pm at Park Hill Presbyterian Church located at 3520 John F. Kennedy Blvd, North Little Rock, Arkansas, with Pastor Marie Mainard O’Connell officiating. The family asks that any financial contributions be made to a local Alcoholics Anonymous chapter in honor of the deceased.
