Linda Carol Simmons, age 65, of Little Rock, passed away on Thursday, February 6, 2020 at Arkansas Hospice. She was born on December 20, 1954 in Horley, Surrey to the late Richard and Marcelle (Shales) Standford.
Linda was a beloved nurse, and later became an inspirational and admired Medical Professions Teacher at Academics Plus Charter School where she Retired.
Other than her parents she is predeceased by her Step-Mother Mary Standford, brothers Michael and David Standford.
Linda is survived by her children, Stuart Trumble and Rachael Simmons of Little Rock, her brother Alan Standford, her sisters Jenny Matthews, Fiona Standford, and Susan Standford, Grandchildren Mya Dwane, Taylor Trumble, Ryder Trumble, Caleb Keatts, and Ethan Lewis, and many nieces and nephews.
Her memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 15, 2020 at 2:00pm at St. Paul United Methodist Church, 2223 Durwood Rd, Little Rock, Arkansas, 72207. Pastor Pam Estes will be officiating.
Cremation arrangements are under the trusted direction of A Natural State Funeral Service, 2620 West Main Street, Jacksonville, Arkansas, 72076. 501-982-3400.
